Antonia Asika Okogwu

Antonia Asika Okogwu holds a BA in sculpture from the University of Nigeria (1986) and an MFA in sculpture from Ahmadu Bello University (1989). She was the first woman sculptor to graduate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. In 1990 she made a study trip to the Soviet Union, and she worked as a guest artist in Kano. She has taken part in many solo and group exhibitions in Nigeria and abroad.
